I was born with a birth defect but I didn’t let it affect me negatively.
My Grandmother always told me that I had purpose, so I continued to build on that very thought.
Throughout my childhood I was bullied because I was very small but I hold no grudges towards anyone, it taught me how to get stronger mentally and physically.
Although I’m in my late 40s, I truly believe that I still have purpose like my Grandmother said.
So in closing I want to encourage you all to stay focused on the big picture and to never give up!
Life is changing so fast.It seemed like yesterday when we were walking on the beach. You use to look up at me,now we’re eye to eye,man to man.
I taught you all of the chess moves in life,I taught you that it’s all about intention not attention.
In a couple of weeks you will move away for college and believe it or not,my anxiety levels aren’t high, that tells me that you are ready,Son.
I can’t wait to see what the future holds, one thing I know for certain,it is going to be a bright one.
My Uncle Raymond taught me how to ride a bike, you need balance to conquer that feat.
I transferred the word balance to my life,I use it as a mantra, you can’t be too high and you can’t be too low on yourself.
I am ego-less,I have empathy, but I don’t care what people think of me.
I demand respect by the way I carry myself, but I don’t force it.
My Uncle Raymond taught me how to walk with my head up high,I transferred that to my kids.
My kids will transfer that positive energy to their kids and so on and so on.
So,the question is,how do you find balance?
Are you self aware?
1.Always speak positive about the future, never use fear tactics.
2.Have dinners at the kitchen table, this is a lost art, trust me it will work wonders in your relationship.
3.Always promote education and entrepreneurship, these two subjects are the wave, keep an open mind and do your research on successful business minds across the globe.
4.Show interest in the music he or she likes, try to draw parallels to the icons of your era.
5.Explain the importance of your family name, tell them about the consequences of breaking the law and how peer pressure can lead them down the wrong path as well.
These are some of my parenting tips I’ve used over almost three decades, good luck.
When I look into your eyes everything else disappears.
The chemistry between us equals to 100 years.
The trust and love we have between us means,no fear.
You bring out the best in me,I always need you next to me.
You are my destiny,my prayers were answered instantly, when I looked into your eyes…
Give yourself permission to think bigger.
Has life turned out as expected?
Good question,I’m still searching for my purpose. Can anyone relate?
