How could you be mad when you look at these Silkies?
Here is a update on my 2 Black Australorp Pullets. We’ve been so busy with our home renovations, I haven’t had time to update you guys on how the new babies are doing.
Check them out! (8 weeks old)
I use Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar in their Waterer to keep them healthy, I use 1 tablespoon per gallon of water, it boosts their immune system.

Introducing 2 Black Australorp Pullets to the homestead!
What a beautiful day! I can never get use to or take for granted that God allowed me to see another day on this earth. I’m so grateful that one of my hens supplied me with this beautiful gift…have a great remainder of your day and thank you for your support.
On Monday one of my hens was making noises like she was laying an egg, I kept checking the coop all day, no egg. Throughout the week I made sure they had plenty food and water, so I played the waiting game. So today (Saturday) I scheduled the task of cleaning their coop out and adding fresh bedding and to my surprise I found five eggs! To say I’m excited is a understatement, I am so proud of my girls, here is a pic of the five beautiful eggs. Thank you guys for riding along on this journey with me, I am forever grateful.
