Wellness Wednesday
Hello beautiful people, I hope all is well with you. Today I woke up focused on adding a new goal to my walking journey. As you’ve seen in previous posts, I usually walk 6.60 miles when I have the opportunity to do so. I started with deep stretching because my hamstrings been a little tight, tight hamstrings are no fun when you’re walking long distances like I do. So today I pushed myself a little harder, and to say I’m beyond proud of myself is a understatement. Family, I did 10 miles, not too shabby for a old dude…haha!! But for real, whenever possible I encourage you all to exercise in some form or fashion, you will feel so much better for doing so.

Last night I used the foam roller on my back and legs. Today my body was more flexible during my Sunday walk, the results were noticed instantly!

Whew, just completed my 6 mile walk this morning, I feel so good!


Lower Body Home Workout
Morning walk
I took last week off from walking due to a head and chest cold, today my uncle and I hit the Greenway for a 6 mile walk. To say my body feel good is a understatement, I desperately needed to sweat those toxins out. We walked the 6 mile trail in 1:56, not bad if I say so myself.

Knocked out my morning walks a little early today. I’ve found that walking really does limit anxiety, this self care stuff really works!
